<dc:title>Copy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Professor Gösta Mittag-Leffler, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>It is the Society's custom to publish in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' obituary notices of Fellows and Foreign Members. The English mathematicians think Mittag-Leffler the most competent to provide an account of the life and work of the late Professor [Carl Wilhelm] Weierstrass and they would like to ask if Mittag-Leffler would be willing to undertake this task.

Rucker must confess it is unusual to ask a Foreign Member but they would be greatly obliged if his duties will allow him to comply with this task.</dc:description>
