<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Victor Horsley, Fellow of the Royal Society </dc:title>
<dc:description>Harrison explains that the delay in responding to Horsley's letter of 26 December was caused by the Christmas vacation. He states that he will present Horsley's proposal to the Council at the first opportunity, but prior to that suggests they would like to know the price placed on the portrait of Sir Humphrey Davy by its owner. He further suggests that the owner should be informed that the Royal Society already own a portrait of Davy by Sir Thomas Lawrence, as presented by Lady Davy in 1829.</dc:description>
