<dc:title>Copy letter from Michael Foster, to Edwin Ray Lankester, [Fellow of the Royal Society]</dc:title>
<dc:description>The Society has received a paper from Tomes on which Foster encloses the abstract [not attached], and also a letter from Tomes to which Foster has replied that the Society could publish the abstract at once in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. Foster imagines Lankester approves and wonders whether the referees should be [Edward Albert Sharpey-]Schafer and Klein. Schafer as Chairman of the Physiology Board said the paper belonged to Lankester's board. </dc:description>
