Copy letter from Theodore E James, to T Johnson, 37 Thorn Street, Moses Gate James is instructed to reply to Johnson's letters of 30th July that the Royal Society does not assist inventors in the way James alludes to but that it is open to Johnson to apply to the Government Grant Committee who administer the £4000 Treasury Grant in aid of Scientific Investigations.
