<dc:title>Copy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Andrew Russell Forsyth, [Fellow of the Royal Society]</dc:title>
<dc:description>Encloses a communication from Darwin received today together with Mr Hough's paper [not enclosed]. Has accepted Hough's paper and ordered the abstract for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. As to referees the two previous ones were Lamb and Darwin but is is not usual for a referee to also be the communicator. Asks if Forsyth thinks it acceptable for Darwin to be both. The nominations will have to be confirmed by the Mathematical Committee. </dc:description>
