Copy letter from Michael Foster, to the German Ambassador [Paul von Hatzfeldt] The Royal Society have this year awarded the Copley medal to the Ambassador's distinguished countryman Professor Albert von Kolliker of the University of Wurzburg for his researches in histology, comparative anatomy and physiology. The President and Officers hope the Ambassador may be present or have a representative at the presentation of the medal on 30th November at the Society's Anniversary Meeting. 19 November 1897
