Copy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to S A Swan Rucker is directed by the Committee of papers to forward Swan, together with the accompanying formal letter, a portion of the report of one of the referee's [no attachments]. This is sent for Swan's private information only, but though it is not unusual to make any such communication to the author of a paper which is not to be published, the Committee think it may be useful to Swan in his future work. It is hoped Swan may thus this be able to bring his investigations to a successful conclusion. 18 June 1897
