Copy letter from Michael Foster, to Professor Pfeffer Glad to hear through Dr Scott that Pfeffer has consented to deliver the 'Croonian Lecture' at the Royal Society on 17 March. Pfeffer has been formally appointed to the post by the President and Council of the Society at their meeting yesterday. Need to know the exact title of the lecture. It is understood that Pfeffer delivers the lecture in German. Foster will secure a short hand reported and the issue of publication can be considered at a later date. 18 February 1898
