Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Alexander Galt, Physical Laboratory, The University, Glasgow Able to answer Galt's letter of February 4 on the subject of Hoene Wronski: 1) Encloses a list of the publications by Wronski which are found in the [Royal Society] library 2) The indexes to the Council Minutes have been searched but contain no references to Wronski 3) No trace of the series of mathematical and astronomical manuscripts referred to 4) Files of newspapers are not kept in the library and so cannot answer this question 5) This is a matter for the Greenwich Observatory 6) Harrison knows nothing about Reverend F Nolan but do have his deposition which mentions a 'Learned Foreigner Hoene Wronski by the British Board of Longitude' in 1822. 25 February 1898
