Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to M Rykatcheff, St Petersburg Has traced the letter from M Kupffer to Major Sabine dated 30 April 1840 and enloses a copy. The letter was found amongst the correspondence of the late Sir Edward Sabine by Mr R H Scott (Sabine's executor) and the whole of the correspondence have been handed to the Royal Society. Harrison encloses [not enclosed] a list of other letters found from Kupffer to Sabine and advises that copies can be made if required. 18 January 1898
