<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Roberts-Austen, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Professor Roberts-Austen,

I received the enclosed letter this morning [not enclosed], and, at Dr. [Michael] Foster's suggestion, send it on to you with the request that you will confirm his view that, after the conversation you had with Sir Norman Lockyer last night, it is understood that his lantern demonstration holds good for Wednesday next, and that the question of a repetition of it at the June Soiree is a matter for discussion by the Soiree Committee.

This Committee should meet soon now to settle invitations, &c., for June, and Dr. Foster suggests Thursday next at 2.30. If that suits you, will you kindly let me know at once, and I will issue the invitations.
I am,
Very truly yours,
Robt Harrison
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society]'.</dc:description>
