<dc:title>Copy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Major General Rykatcheff</dc:title>
<dc:description>Letters have been dispatched from the Royal Society to the Imperial Academy of Sciences relative to the International Catalogue and to a proposal for regular meetings between representatives of the principal Academies of Europe. Whilst sending these the Society has received an invitation to nominate delegates to attend the celebration of the Centenary of the Imperial Military Academy of Medicine at St Petersburg on 18th December.

At the direction of the Council Rucker and Professor [Michael] Foster have today written to the Secretary of the Imperial Academy of Science to states that if the Academy would be willing to confer with them as representatives of the Society on the question of the Catalogue and the federation of the Academies, the two of them would go to St Petersburg to attend the Centenary and to confer with the academy. </dc:description>
