<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Herbert Rix</dc:title>
<dc:description>Council on Thursday voted £200 from the Government Grant Fund in aid of the renewed Coral Boring Expedition, and a letter this morning from Professor [Thomas George] Bonney says that the cheque, presumably drawn in favour of Professor Edgeworth David, is urgently wanted. Queries if Council has power to vote money from the Government Grant Reserve.

Discusses drawing a cheque in consequence of Council voting £100 in favour of Sir Martin Conway's expedition to the Andes.

Council have also made a grant of £300 from the Government Grant Fund towards the expense of an enquiry into Malaria. Queries where 'all this money' is to come from. </dc:description>
