Copy letter from Arthur Bray Kempe, to Sir James Is directed by the President and Council to send James £10 as a contribution of the Royal Society to the fund which the managers of the Royal Institution are raising for the purpose of securing the preservation of the monument of Sir H Davy in the public cemetery at Geneva. They regret that the state of the finances of the Society does not permit them to make a larger contribution. 8 December 1898
