The Government Grant Review Committee has been reappointed to consist of the Officers and Dr [William Thomas] Blanford, Professor [William Dobinson] Halliburton, Dr H Muller, Mr W D Niven, Professor Reindold, Dr Russell and Dr D H Scott. Council have directed that the photographs of clouds which accompanied the Government Grant apparatus returned by Mr Piazzi Smyth, shall be placed in the Royal Society's library for reference. 15 December 1898
