Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Lord Joseph Lister, Professor Edwin Ray Lankester and Sir John Kirk, President and Fellows of the Royal Society Is requested by Professor [Michael] Foster to acquaint the recipients with the following documents; medical reports on the cases of Officers of the West African Colonies, who have died of malaria or blackwater fever during the last six years; and copies of letters from the Secretary of the Foreign Missions Section of the Free Church of Scotland, enclosing certain papers likely to be of use to the malaria committee.
