  <dc:description>Received Dixon's letter on the subject of his paper, 'Contributions to the theory of Simultaneous Differential Equations'. Application will be made to the Council in due course for leave for Dixon to have a copy of the paper. Given the difficult character of the paper and the liability to errors in copying, it is thought best to allow Dixon to borrow the manuscript for his purpose. Therefore sending him the paper on loan.  </dc:description>
