Copy letter from G Carey Foster, to Lord Blythswood The paper by Blythswood and Mr Marchant was considered by the Special Committee for Physics and Chemistry, together with a report of a Fellow of the Royal Society who had been asked to be a referee. It was resolved that the referee's remarks would be passed on and that Blythswood and Marchant should be in direct communication with the referee if they wish. 27 April 1899
