-A statement as to the emoluments, duties, and conditions of tenure of office of the Director, which have been approved by the President and Council [enclosed on page 483]

The Director should command the confidence both of those interested in Science and Industry. Glazebrook can arrange for an interview with Vice-Chairman (Lord Rayleigh) or the members of the Executive Committee if he wishes.</dc:description>
