<dc:title>Copy letter from Arthur William Rucker and Michael Foster, to the Secretaries of the Royal Geographical Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>At a Council meeting last week it was resolved to suggest that the Royal Geographical Society suggest that Admiral Sir William Wharton should be nominated by the two Societies jointly, to serve as a Member of the Joint Antarctic Committee.

Wharton has been consulted and states that now that Her Majesty's Government has promised a Grant in Aid of the expedition, he feels himself at liberty to join the Committee, if it is desired that he should do so.</dc:description>
