<dc:title>Copy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Sir John Evans, [Fellow of the Royal Society]</dc:title>
<dc:description>Has communicated to Dr Budge the decision of the Committee of Papers and has received the enclosed letter from him [not attached]. Matters would probably be facilitated if Evans would fall in with his suggestions and mark the parts of the paper which he thinks can be omitted. Rucker could then send it to Darwin is he wishes to see it too. Thinks the feeling of the Committee was that the reductions should be substantial. If Evans consents Rucker will send the paper. Asks for Budge's letter to be returned. </dc:description>
