Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Dukinfield Henry Scott, Fellow of the Royal Society Encloses a manuscript of a paper by Sir William Thiselton-Dyer [not attached] which Dyer informed him that Foster had arranged with him should be set up at once on account of his shortly going abroad. Harrison accordingly sent it to the printers without waiting for the usual Chairman's authority. Asks if Scott concurs with the Secretary in proceeding with the paper's publication. 7 October 1899
