Copy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Sir Joseph Lister, President, Royal Society Sir J Murray has just been in and wishes Rucker to inform Lister that the whole of Sir Clements Markam's resolution be omitted except the first paragraph. Murray's view is that the Society ought to submit the whole scheme to the executive and desire him to bring up a scheme with estimates. 3 November 1899
