Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor William Abbott Herdman, Fellow of the Royal Society Has shown Herdman's letter of the 5th to Sir Michael Foster and he wishes Harrison to say that if Herdman is willing to act as a referee on Dr Gregory's paper, it is desirable that he do so. Otherwise the paper should go to Professor [Alfred Cort] Haddon rather than a non-Fellow. Encloses five shillings in stamps to cover postage on Sectional Committee matters and will send some stationary also. 9 January 1900
