Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to W S Wintle, Secretary to the Foundling Hospital
In response to Wintle's note of 10 January, Rix encloses a cheque for 34 pounds, seventeen shillings and four pence at the instructions of the Royal Society's Treasurer. The sum is one year's dividend on 1200 pounds three percent consols of the Wintringham Fund.
