Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs West, Newman & Company Sends thanks for the initial estimate, but following an Officers meeting yesterday asks if they can provide a revised estimate for the plates for George Downing Liveing and James Dewar's paper, as the four plates will not be published, but the 3 folding plates will be. Rix specifies the paper and set up of the plates. He emphasises the need to work from the list of lines and keep to scale. 24 February 1888
