<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to [Michael Foster, Royal Society]</dc:title>
<dc:description>Rix provides information on events at the Royal Society, namely:

As Dr Geikie has been attending meetings of the Government Grant Administration sub-committee without being a member, should he be summoned to the meeting next Thursday.
Rix has investigated the matter of Dr Robert Lendlmayer von Lendenfeld's plates, but really nothing can be done until [Foster] has seen them. Rix has the data available for him when he has five minutes to consider the question.
He encloses a list of last year's extra guests to the 'Ladies' Conversaziones' and a copy of the circular [not included].
[Foster's] telegram has been received and attended to.

A postscript asks whether he should repond with a yes or no to Powell and Lealand, and notes Mr Crisp's recommendation.</dc:description>
