Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Robert Baldwin Hayward, Fellow of the Royal Society Rix has discovered that a circular demanding Hayward's annual subscription to the Royal Society was sent in error. Although their bankers had received it, an entry had not been made in the pass-book at the time of writing the circular. Rix believes that the error will not be repeated. 18 May 1888
