Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster [Royal Society] States that it is too late to stop Mr Berry's paper as the text and plates went to print last week, but that a note could be added on a separate leaf. This would delay the issue of subsequent papers in 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' until the note was written, as the numbering of pages is continuous. 18 June 1888
