Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr William Marcet [Fellow of the Royal Society] Rix states that they cannot get the whole of Marcet's figure on one plate, but as he had mentioned that the gas-holder part did not matter much, Rix encloses a sketch of the proposed plate [not included] with the gas-holder taken off and the figure reduced in size. Asks for Marcet to say if he finds the sketch acceptable. 4 July 1888
