Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt, Royal Society] Professor Langley's report on the third of Professor James Cossar Ewart's papers has arrived, and he differs in opinion from the other referee. The vote in the Committee of Papers to publish it in 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' will be unaffected, but it does have implications for the question of whether to publish Ewart's three papers as one. 10 July 1888
