Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster [Royal Society] In response to Foster's enquiry about William Turner Thiselton-Dyer's list of botanical periodicals, Rix notes that the matter has caused a significant amount of correspondence, which is ongoing. Attempts to secure exchanges have failed in all but two cases, which are undecided. Rix has therefore obtained by purchase both those marked 'a charge' as well as those for purchase, with the total cost not to exceed eight pounds a year. 19 October 1888
