<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, [Royal Society]</dc:title>
<dc:description>Notes that various matters in relation to the Government Grant require his attention.

Firstly, Rix has not sent the enclosed circular [not included] because the grant was awarded not to Herdman personally, but to the LMBC to cover assistance to Herdman and J C Thompson. Rix is unclear about the matter and suggests asking to someone present in the sub-committee what the resolution means.
Secondly, W N Parker was posponed, but Rix does not know why and states that it will require a letter. They have no circular.
Thirdly, Rix supposes that D J Hamilton should not be written to. They have no circular.</dc:description>
