<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, [Royal Society]</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
The Treasury declines to print the Cat. Sci. Pap. ['Catalogue of Scientific Papers'] but gives £1000 towards it. The Treasury also declines to help Mr Murray with his supplementary volume. I have sent both the letters to the President this morning. Dr Cunningham's paper has come back from Prof Flower [Professor William Henry Flower]. He recommends it for Phil.Trans ['Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society']. Who is to be the 2nd referee? You said I was not to send it to Milus Marshall.
Yours obediently,
H Rix'. </dc:description>
