Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor William Abbott Herdman, Fellow of the Royal Society Encloses a card referring to a paper upon which the Secretary does not care to decide on his own responsibility [not attached], especially having regard to the fact that the paper slightly exceeds the limits of a short paper as defined by the Standing Orders. On receipt of the card from Herdman, and after obtaining the concurrence of the Secretary, Harrison will act according to the instructions thus obtained. 6 February 1900
