Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir John Murray, Fellow of the Royal Society In reply to Murray's letter of 7 March, the Lords of Treasury on 4 August 1899, were recommended to make a grant of a complete set of the volumes of the 'Challenger' Report to the University of Dorpat. On 8 September the Society was informed that the recommendations were accepted and directions were given for the distribution so the University ought to have the set by now. Encloses a fresh application [for volumes] on which he is to ask Murray's opinion [not attached]. 9 March 1900
