<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Henry Selby Hele-Shaw, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Read with some dismay Hele-Shaw's remarks and suggestions in his letter of 4 October regarding the proofs of his 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' paper. The collotyper has been consulted and reports that Hele-Shaw's suggestion of eight plates, with four figures per plate, would nearly double the cost of the work, a serious increase in price which Harrison must obtain authority for. Harrison will seek authority if Hele-Shaw feels very strongly on the subject. Suggests a compromise regarding the plates and hopes Hele-Shaw will accept the small sacrifice entailed. If Hele-Shaw agrees to the compromise Harrison could at once get a revise with lettering inserted and send proofs again for approval. </dc:description>
