  <dc:description>In reply to McLennan's enquiry concerning private copies of his paper on the conductivity of gases, regarding the full paper in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', 200 copies were ordered from the printers as per McLennan's order dated 2 July. These were ordered on 10 October and should be on their way to McLennan.

Regarding the abstract published in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' in number 431, Harrison does not find that the Society ever received any order for private copies of this. Hopes the 200 copies of the full paper may satisfy McLennan's needs.</dc:description>
