Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor James Bell Pettigrew, Fellow of the Royal Society In reply to Pettigrew's of the 17 November, Harrison has again looked into the matter of Pettigrew's paper and finds that having been withdrawn in 1868, Pettigrew re-submitted it in a revised form on 6 February 1872. This manuscript is in the Society's possession in a bound volume. Is not able to send the volume in question but can show Pettigrew the paper when he is next in town and Pettigrew is welcome to send a copyist. Has no separate copies of the abstract of the paper and the only form in which it can now be obtained is in the number of the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' containing it. It was published in number 94 at two shillings and six pence. 19 November 1900
