<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Karl Pearson, Fellow of the Royal Society </dc:title>
<dc:description>Writes with reference to Pearson's complaints about the printing of the plates of his 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' paper. Has seen Messrs Harrisons on the subject, carelessness has been shown and Harrison trusts that now the Society has called them to book, they will secure more careful work in future. Is returning Pearson's marked sheets of manuscript and proof [not enclosed]. Is about to send Pearson's memoir VII to press and will take care to caution the printers about the corrections. Harrison thinks Part VIII would be safer if Pearson saw a revise with the note added at the end and is therefore ordering fresh proofs.</dc:description>
