<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Herren Vieweg & Sohn, Braunschweig</dc:title>
<dc:description>Writes to enquire about a coloured spectrum plate to illustrate a paper by Professor [William] Ramsay on 'Argon & its companions', which the Royal Society is about to publish in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]'. Ramsay says the Messrs are the publishers of this plate, which appears in a book by Professor Erdmann, and that Erdmann has consented to the use of the plate. Harrison is unable to send with this a copy of the plate.

Asks if copies of the plate can be supplied and on what terms; about 1000 copies will be required on paper measuring 30 by 23 centimeters.</dc:description>
