Copy letter from an unknown correspondent, to Sir Michael Foster, Fellow of the Royal Society Dr Townsend is returning to Rhodesia [Zimbabwe] in two weeks and has been working for three months at the School of Tropical Medicine, Albert Docks. Sir William Gowers recommends the Society ask Townsend to cooperate and also recommends obtaining someone else to work on Malaria in the district south of the Zambesi [Zambezi]. 26 January 1901
