Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir William Huggins, President of the Royal Society Sir George Stokes, Lord Kelvin [William Thomson] and Professor [Thomas Henry] Huxley were all elected Fellows of the Royal Society fifty years ago today. Sir Michael Foster fears it is too late to do more than address congratulatory letters to them, but asks Harrison to call the President's attention to the circumstances, and suggests he make a few remarks upon the subject at the meeting tomorrow. 5 June 1901
