Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir William Huggins, [President, Royal Society] With reference to the enclosed letter from the Royal Astronomical Society, both Secretaries think it desirable, if possible, to arrange a joint meeting of the two Societies at an early date to hear the preliminary reports on the recent eclipse and suggest 31 October for such a meeting.
