<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor William Dobinson Halliburton, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Sir M Foster communicates a paper by Professor McWilliam for the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', particulars of which are on the enclosed card [not enclosed]. Has written to the author for an abstract. Before formally submitting the paper Foster submitted it to Professor [Ernest Henry] Starling for his opinion. Harrison encloses Starling's report [not enclosed], which might stand for that of the first referee. Asks if Halliburton agrees with accepting the paper and if he can suggest a referee. </dc:description>
