<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Walter Noel Hartley, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Is desired by the Secretaries to say, in reply to Hartley's letter of 27 November to Professor [Arthur William] Rucker, that Dr W E Adeney's paper on 'The Fermentation of Urea' was submitted to referees in the usual manner and fully considered by the Sectional Committee who took into consideration publication in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. The Secretaries have no power to communicate the reason for the decision on a paper, but they are transmitting Hartley's letter to the Sectional Committee which has Dr Adeney's paper under consideration.</dc:description>
