Copy letter from Theodore E James, to W Hastings Fowler Fowler's letter referring to the Captain Cook Medal has been handed to James for reply. Encloses a copy of a printed supplementary catalogue of medals in possession of the Society, including the Cook Medal [not enclosed]. The Society owns only a bronze copy and that was only recently presented by Sir John Evans. Weld's History of the Royal Society provides an account of the institution of the medal.
