<dc:title>Copy letter from Theodore E James, to W Hastings Fowler</dc:title>
<dc:description>Fowler's letter referring to the Captain Cook Medal has been handed to James for reply. Encloses a copy of a printed supplementary catalogue of medals in possession of the Society, including the Cook Medal [not enclosed]. The Society owns only a bronze copy and that was only recently presented by Sir John Evans. Weld's History of the Royal Society provides an account of the institution of the medal. The original designs are at the Society. </dc:description>
