Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to William Bateson, Fellow of the Royal Society Sir M Foster has received the enclosed note and paper from Dr Bastian, to whom Foster has replied that he cannot accept a paper himself, but is referring it to the Zoology Committee. Foster wishes Bateson to look over the paper and Harrison asks Bateson to bear in mind the difficulties there may be in accepting the paper without careful examination. 16 January 1902
