  <dc:description>Replies to their letter of 5 March, which enclosed a copy of a letter from Messrs Fladgate, and a letter from Mr L C Mackinnon in which the latter asks whether the President and Council would give some further assistance to William Mackinnon, the nephew of the late Sir W A Mackinnon.

Informs them that President and Council have decided to grant a sum of £150 for Wiliam Mackinnon's benefit, but they are unable to make any further grant, and before handing over the £150 will need to be informed who will undertake responsibility for its proper expenditure.</dc:description>
