Copy letter sent from Joseph Larmor and Archibald Geikie, to The Under Secretary of State, Colonial Office Acting on advice of the Tropical Diseases Committee the Royal Society have agreed to assist in setting up a Joint Commission comprising Army, Navy and Civil Government to investigate Mediterranean Fever. The selection of investigators on a Committee will be undertaken by the Royal Society, and any costs defrayed by H M Government. President and Council concur in the appointment of Dr Zammit as one of the investigators. February 1904
